Getting Here
There is 2 Hour Metered Parking in front of the studio and at the Pier parking lots. Free parking is available at certain times of the day up on Highland and on Manhattan Ave but allow additional time for parking and walking. For workshops and Events longer than 2 hours park up in the Metlox Center at the top of Manhattan Blvd. next to the Shade Hotel.

Dress appropriately.
Wear comfortable, loose or form fitting clothing. Layers help to adjust for temperature changes during and after class. Yoga clothing is available in studio for purchase. All classes are done barefoot.

Practice on an empty stomach. Avoid eating 2 hours prior to yoga classes. If you need some quick energy, fruit or juice would be okay before class. Drink plenty of water before and after class. We have a complimentary tea bar and Kagan Water at the Front Desk area and Drinks for sale at the bar.

Purchase a yoga mat. Having your own mat supports your commitment to your practice and ensures its cleanliness. Mats are available for purchase at the studio.

Practice often. 3 to 5 times per week is recommended for rapidly building a strong practice. 1- 2 times a week will accomplish this goal, just over a longer period of time. Support your practice… by taking a Private yoga lesson. Spend an hour with an expert teacher to receive specific attention tailored to your needs before you begin group classes or in addition to your group classes.

Ask for guidance with your practice. As you build your practice, connect with your teacher(s) with questions around your practice or begin now by contacting us. We are here to support you on your path.
